thus, it all but replaces the Warfarin- induced factor deprivation.
Some factor VII will still have to come from somewhere.
The bleeding warfarinized patient will probably need some of this, as well as some FFP (probably 1 unit) to replace the Factor VII, as well as Vitamin K to ensure there will be more endogenously synthesized factors to follow.
The usual dose is 15-30 IU/kg
The maximum dose (for vigorous bleeding) is 50 IU/kg
